Well, my sweet friend Ashly came to me and asked me to photograph Zach, her younger brother, for his senior photos. But, let me back up a bit and explain the amazing day we all had.
Ashly, Jena (another dear friend), and I all decided to take a step and publicly affirm our faith in Christ, and be baptized. So yesterday, our closest friends and family all came to share our joy-filled, emotional experience, and hear us share our stories of how God has personally guided and shaped us to this point in our lives. Ashly spoke of her brother in her testimony, "I see God the most in my brother--he is a miracle." It was such a moving moment. Her brother's face was lit up the entire morning. You could see so much joy in him. His smile and laughter are so contagious! I so enjoyed getting to meet and photograph him. Here are a few faves from the day. :o)
