fun in the country...

well, sometimes i just love to get out of the city.
don't get me wrong, i absolutely love indy. and i love big cities. i love the fast paced, excitement of it all. but sometimes it's just great to get away from it all too. so every now and then i pick a road at random, and just drive until i'm the only car on the road and i'm in the middle of nowhere. i never have a route or a map...i just go...and sometimes get severely lost haha. but anyways, it's always a liberating and rejuvenating experience. here are some fun, vintage images from my latest excursion... click on them to see them larger... they're much better bigger :o) i hope you enjoy them as much as i do :o)

jenni and matt had such a great wedding. they decided to stick with tradition and wait to see each other until the ceremony, which i think is the best way to do it. it may cause some delays in group pictures, but it's a truly amazing moment, and hey its your wedding day... do it the way you want. they had their ceremony and reception at the ritz charles in carmel, which is a great place to get married. the staff is wonderful and everything you could need is right there in one location. well anways, here are my favorite images from the day. hope you enjoy! jenni and matt, you two were wonderful to work with...enjoy your new life together :o)

congrats julia and ben! i met these two back in march when I photographed a conference in LA. They are a great couple who know how to goof off and have a good time together. I photographed their wedding with lukas and matt, and lets just say, julia and ben had plenty of photographic coverage for their wedding haha. they had a laid back, garden themed wedding with live butterflies in jars as their center pieces, and they served dirt pudding out of large terra cotta pots! it was a great wedding and i wish the best for them :o)
